Carrizozo Chamber News Letter Carrizozo Labor Day Street Fair

The 20th Annual Carrizozo Labor Day Street Fair is now organizing. Please join us this year on Labor Day, Monday, September 2, 2013. This year, the Fair will take a little bit of a new face as your Carrizozo Chamber of Commerce has adopted the Fair as a Chamber Event. As in the past and still this year, the Fair promises a day packed with family fun. The Street Fair at McDonald Park in Carrizozo kicks off with a parade on 12th Street at 10:00 a.m. followed by live music, arts and crafts, food vendors, kids obstacle course, climbing wall, silent auction and the Carrizozo Ranch Rodeo. Our SPONSORS will be showcased throughout the park. Be a VENDOR for your company or organization. Donate an item to the Carrizozo Chamber of Commerce SILENT AUCTION table. Please support our Street Fair event. The Carrizozo Chamber of Commerce is a 501(c)6 organization. Please find attached information about Carrrizozo Market....remember? The grocery store that blew away.....well, it is coming back!!! Please attend the next Chamber regular business meeting this Tues., April 9 at 5:15PM at Otero Electric. 20th Annual Street Fair. A kick-off meeting for the 20th Carrizozo Street Fair (which is now a Chamber event) will be Tues, April 9 at 4PM (just before the Chamber meeting). Everyone is invited to attend and participate. Volunteers are needed for a few "areas" and the "day of". DON'T FORGET.....April 19, 20, 21 RENNAISANCE FESTIVAL MacDonald Park. Call Jaimee Geib for info, table space, or to just plain "lend a hand"! 937-6957 Business After Hours: Thursday, April 25 5:15PM hosted by Tularsoa Basin Telephone Company.....at the Carrizozo Heritage Museum. We are looking for volunteers for one or more Saturday a month to be an official "Carrizozo Welcomer" at the Caboose. High school students are encouraged to participate. Anyone who would like to help keep the Caboose open during the summer and fall months and knows "lots" or "little" about Carrizozo is welcomed. The hours are 10am-2pm. Sunday, March 31, 2013 Please mark your calendar. Congressman Steve Pearce will be hosting a business roundtable in Carrizozo on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at the Carrizozo Town Hall, 2 PM. Everyone is invited to attend. Get your red hot raffle tickets for the Golf Outing at the Inn of the Mountain Gods. Call Fran Altieri, Anne Exterkamp or stop in to many businesses in Carrizozo to buy your tickets. Regular Chamber business meeting is Tuesday, April 9 at 5:15PM at the Otero Electric Co-op. Kick off meeting of the Carrizozo Street Fair is Tuesday, April 9 at 4:00 PM at the Otero Electric Co-op. Please attend all meetings to show your support of the Chamber. Thank you.
