The Carrizozo Labor Day Street Fair September 6th

Now celebrating its 17th year, Carrizozo's Labor Day Street Fair is gearing up for another big day on Monday, September 6, 2010. The event will be held at McDonald Park, located on the south end of Central Boulevard in Carrizozo from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. after the Street Fair parade down historic 12th Street. Carrizozo Chamber Relocation Information

If you are considering relocating to Carrizozo either to live or to start a business, there are plenty of people here ready to help. From houses for sale and rent to open land to build on Carrizozo offers a number of options. Check with Tierra Verde Properties for properties in and around Carrizozo. Our new 3500 acre sub-division at Valle del Sol offers residential lots of 3, 5 and 10 acres. There is also commercial property available. Our electric service is provided by Otero County Electric Cooperative, and phone and broadband DSL service is offered by Tularosa Basin Telephone Company. City Bank New Mexico and Wells Fargo Bank can help with your financial needs. Zia Natural Gas provides gas service. You can get information about schools, churches and other organizations as well as government information at the Town's web site www.townofcarrizozo.org. Carrizozo has a number of art galleries and antique shops as well. Check out Gallery 408 on historic 12th St and also look at DreamSpace website for some talented visual arts and multi-media.

Carrizozo also has many business opportunities. With its unique location at the cross roads of two major highways in the state, railroad with sidings, an airport with small jet capabilities, and an industrial park, starting or relocating a business here has many advantages.
